Galaxy Digital posts $273 million loss in 2018; crypto portfolio down more than $100 million
Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. said on Monday the company posted an annual loss of $272.6 million in 2018, thanks in part to a loss of $101.4 million in digital assets. The price of a single bitcoin, the best-known cryptocurrency, by fell by more than 60% in 2018, closing the year below $4,000.
