Voatz defends its blockchain solution for voting via app

The for-profit company wants to make absentee voting easier, but its biggest test included only 15,000 voters. In a conference call on Thursday, Voatz responded to a MIT researcher’s critique of its voting app. In the call, Voatz vice president Hilary Braseth said that the company has run more than 50 elections since 2016, including nine targeted pilots in five states.
