Bitcoin dives as red-hot rally hits the buffers

Bitcoin price drops more than $1,000 in Asian trade

HONG KONG/ TOKYO (Reuters) – Bitcoin hiccoughed in Asian trading on Thursday to at one point stand more than 6% down on the day after failing to make record highs. Bitcoin, the world’s biggest and best-known crypto-currency, was last trading around $17,700, having lost more than $1,000 since its previous close.
