Bitcoin dropped to US$17,657.53 on Thursday, down 5.74 percent on the day, after losing US$1,074.9 from its previous close. (Updated: ) Share this content HONG KONG/ TOKYO: Bitcoin hiccoughed in Asian trading on Thursday to at one point stand more than 6per cent down on the day after failing to make record highs.
