Coinbase denies discriminating against Black workers, preempting an upcoming New York Times investigation
Coinbase on Thursday issued a preemptive denial of an upcoming New York Times story, saying the piece will allege workplace discrimination against Black employees. Coinbase said the Times story, due to be published in print Sunday, will cover organizational changes made in 2018, and “will likely imply that Black employees were discriminated against during this process; this is false.”
